Dear Sponsor,
My name is Christina Meredith. I am competing in the Miss California United States 2013 pageant. I am currently Miss Ventura, and I can’t wait to represent my wonderful area in the state competition in the spring, but I can’t do it without your help!
What I am asking for you to do is to make a donation towards my pageant fees. If you would like to purchase an advertisement for your company in our program book, this would greatly help offset my expenses. This will make you one of my official sponsors for the pageant and help me in my quest to become the next Miss USA/Miss California United States. The commission I earn will help pay my entry fee into the state pageant and could be tax deductible for you.” A donation of any amount would greatly help.
I would like to be the next Miss California United States to launch my non-profit that is solely dedicated to helping young girls who are in foster care and other undesirable situations. Having grown up in foster care myself, I am very aware of the needs for these precious young girls and the essential part my non-profit would play in bringing love and basic care for these girls. Helping me achieve this dream would mean more to me than anything in this world! If I can help just one girl, my hard work and heart ache will be worth it.
