Exposay: Britain's Prince Charles was reportedly targeted by alleged fraudster Bernard Madoff. An associate of Madoff - who was charged in December for running one of the biggest investor frauds in history - reportedly approached the prince and his sons at a polo match in 2002.
Prince Michael of Yugoslavia was an executive of a feeder fund for Madoff's scheme, Access International Advisors Ltd.
Whistleblower Harry Markopolos said: "It is my belief that Access likely had several royal families as clients invested in Madoff."
A source close to Prince Charles says he did not invest any money with Madoff.
The American businessman is currently under house arrest until his indictment later this month.
He is being charged with running a fraudulent investment scheme worth over $50 billion.
Madoff's alleged victims include the world's wealthiest woman, Liliane Bettencourt, actor Kevin Bacon, actor John Malkovich and CNN's Larry King.
