Crazy man he is. The force is evil in this one......
A bandit decked out in a Darth Vader costume strolled into a Long Island bank on Thursday - and walked out with a wad of cash.................
The getup struck one customer as so funny that he started joshing with the Darth Robber after he strode into the Chase bank in Setauket.
"The customer thought it might have been a joke, and not a serious attempt at a robbery," said Suffolk County police Detective Sgt. William Lamb.
But Darth wasn't kidding - and he wasn't going to be stopped by a non-Jedi Knight.
He won a "shoving match" against the incredulous customer before using his piece to order him to the floor, Lamb said.

E!: Gloria Allred, (filed a lawsuit) on behalf of an actress who claims she was sexually harassed by Boreanaz.
According to Kristina Hagan's complaint, the 41-year-old Boreanaz approached her after she completed shooting a bit part on his hit Fox drama to ask for her headshots. Then, per the suit, he sent numerous "sexually inappropriate text messages" to her, including a cell-phone pic of—TMI alert!—his penis.
But Boreanaz isn't going down without a fight.
Read the full allegations here.
"The allegations concerning any alleged inappropriate conduct by David Boreanaz are totally fabricated and absurd," his rep told E! News. "There is no validity to this lawsuit.
According to her filing, on Sept. 9, 2009, Boreanaz offered to give her a ride. He told her he was trying to find the right role for her, and informed her he's "the boss" who "could make things happen for her," per court docs.
He allegedly drove Hagan to a park, where, according to the suit, he tried to force himself on her.
"[David] attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts but she pushed him away," the lawsuit states. "[He then] unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis and began stroking it until he ejaculated."
The complaint states that he subsequently "pushed himself on top of her, and when he tried to put his hand down her pants and touch her, she pushed him off of her."
Then, on Sept. 29, he allegedly tried to put the moves on her in his trailer.

AP: SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Terminator is taking a few shots at the Road Warrior.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wise-cracked about Mel Gibson on Wednesday, comparing him to the Gulf of Mexico oil leak.
Schwarzenegger told a group of utility commissioners in Sacramento that while BP appears to have contained its well, "no one has figured out how to contain Mel Gibson."
A celebrity website has posted audio recordings of what it says are Gibson's profanity-laced tirades against his ex-girlfriend.
Schwarzenegger also told participants to turn off their cell phones "because we are expecting a call from him."
Gibson spokesman Alan Nierob says he is happy to hear that Schwarzenegger is maintaining a sense of humor, adding, "He's obviously paving the way for a return to showbiz."
On "Samantha Who" & a return to Television:
“I loved my show so much so it’s going to be hard to find something I’m going to attach myself to at this point,” Christina told Access at the press junket for “Cats & Dogs.” “It’s really hard to leave kind of a perfect situation and perfect character that you just fall so in love with.”
On Ed O'Neill's Emmy snub:
“That is horrible,” she said. “He deserves so many accolades. The man is so incredibly talented and such a wonderful, wonderful person.”

E!: Just a day after Rachel Uchitel signed on for the upcoming edition of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, the Donald has dropped the erstwhile Tiger Woods mistress from consideration of the next round of Celebrity Apprentice.
"We no longer have interest in Rachel," Trump's camp said in a statement.
Too bad for her because as of last Friday, sources told E! News the real estate mogul was serious about recruiting her.
But now Team Trump is spinning it a little differently.
"Rachel Uchitel very much wanted to be on Celebrity Apprentice. She asked us, we did not ask her," his rep said. "We were considering it but have 10 people vying for each and every spot. Look what happened to Joan Rivers, Trace Adkins, Piers Morgan, and others who have been on the show."
