Lebron James' ESPN special was the highest rated show of the night.

I didn't watch a minute. Bill Russell or Larry Bird would never have a 1 hour ESPN special.

TV Guide: The Miami Heat grabbed one of the most sought-after NBA free agents in recent memory, but ESPN walked away from LeBron James' announcement special the big winner.
The Decision, airing Thursday at 9/8c on ESPN Thursday, was the highest-rated program of the night, garnering a 7.3 overnight rating, according to the cable channel.

The hour-long special, during which James revealed he was leaving his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, for Miami, peaked between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. with a 9.6 rating.
The Decision was also ESPN's highest rated non-NFL program so far this year, according to the network.
