Let me first say that I love Gioia Bruno. What a voice, what a sweet person! I traveled to Florida yesterday to visit Gioia in studio to hear her perform her new single "Change the World" which benefits Barack Obama. What a BLAST! I previously interviewed Gioia on the phone and she gave me a thrill when she greeted me warmly. O.k., I've a had a crush since way back... sue me! Andy Fraser from legendary rock group Free is the mastermind behind the track. Big props to Andy for backing such a great cause! Gioia's voice and spirits were in high form as she belted out the new track at Cherokee Recording Studio. She clearly loved what she was doing and the smiles from the guys accompanying her evidence that everyone else did too. The wine flowed as Gioia shared her thoughts with me.."Many people feel that i'm bandwagon jumping. I'm on Obama's team, if that makes me a jumper than I'm a high jumper. we got a lot to do! lol" She sent me these photos today & said "These photos captured the intent and the feeling of unity.
