Bernie Mac death t-shirts and other memorabilia explode on eBay. Is this a nice tribute or just disgusting marketing for a buck?


Bernie Mac's body isn't even cold yet and there are Bernie Mac tribute t-shirts with his death date for sale? Ugh..... eBay is filled with this stuff and sellers putting Charlies Angels DVDs and anything Bernie was involved in for sale with lines like "Remember Bernie Mac!". Ugh...... It just doesn't feel right just yet..............

Well I'm going to a comedy show next weekend and my husband and I want to wear Bernie Mac shirt.....because he is and always will be the funniest!!!

His death reminds me of that Auden poem: As the poets have mournfully sung, Death takes the innocent young. Those rolling in money and screamingly funny and those who are very well hung.

I think Bernie would find that funny.
