Billboard is reporting that Madonna’s album sales continue to decline in the US and say that her new album, Hard Candy, is now projected to only sell between 200,000 and 225,000 copies in its opening week. Not great for Madonna and I suspect that is why she is pushing the limit with the suggestive performance below with Justin Timberlake at a promotional performance last night.

madonna continues to outsell almost every artist in the united states in the international market. which is a much larger market. she continues to break records all around the world. i think you also fail to mention that music sales accross the board have been declining year after year throughout the music market. thanks to theives who feel they have no obligation to pay for an artists creative work and feel they can download it without compensation to the artist. you failed to mention that the cd was leaked in full a week before and you also failed to mention the number of stolen copies.
Dude the same could be said about Mariah,Donna,Tina,Beyonce or any other Diva out there.However in this case an artist reaches their peeks and lows. Madonna is a legend U can't always make every fan happy. Madonna is not at her peek anymore. But She's proven herself already She's established. So what if it's not her biggest album. Michael has his "Thriller",Mariah has her "Music Box",Donna has her "Bad girls" & madonna has her "like a virgin". These r these legends signature albums like it or not not folks
