It isn't just concerts that attract celebrities to Boca Raton. Some days, like today the motive is hungry children.
Actress and singer Hilary Duff, 20, visited Boca Raton Elementary School students who were celebrating the official launch of the "Boca Blessings in a Backpack" program, which helps meet the nutritional needs of children and families over weekends.
"I'm so happy to be part of it," said Duff. "I'm honored to have met you."
Students received her with songs, screams, "I love you Hilary" signs and giant handmade thank you cards.
