I think Deborah Gibson has fallen in love with me!

It's not easy meeting one of your favorite stars from when you were a teen. But recently, I had the oppertunity to do just that. I had the chance to visit the set of "Total Pop Star" on its media day. It was great to meet Andrew Van Slee in person after interviewing him via the phone last month! Great guy indeed. I was on a mission not to say "Whoah!" to Joey Lawrence. I succeeded. What a humble and real guy Joey turned out to be. And of course...........I met Deborah Gibson. I had a major crush on "Debbie" years ago and seeing her in person, it all came flooding back. I admit that I wasn't able to be very coherent with Deborah. I said something like "Monkey, Ice Cream, Boom Boom" to introduce myself and it seemed to hit her funny bone. My nerves won and I stammered an introduction and she was very charming to me. She giggled through our conversation and said that I was a "cutie". You hear that world? Deborah Gibson has obviously fallen in love with me. Where should we register for our impending wedding?.......In all seriousness, it was a pleasure to be at the great event & I encourage you to read about it at the following link: (Showbiz flair? Maybe I wasn't as nerdy as I thought i was......)

"The excitement all got underway in front of the watchful eyes of the Hollywood press. Turning out in support the Total Pop Star online phenomenon, while hobnobbing over lunch with the cast was Jason Oropallo from RealityWanted.com, Denise Ames from Focus: In the Mix, and a very special visit from Jean Arthur, ambassador from the Reality Cares Foundation. Total Pop Star also welcomed crews and journalists from the TV Guide Network, CC Variety TV, Manmade Multimedia, Life & Style, US Weekly, Hollywood Hills Magazine, Getty Images, Berliner Studio, Cybersocket Magazine and Showbiz to Go. Lastly, one of Total Pop Star's favorite celebrity bloggers, Geno from Geno's World stopped by with his showbiz flair and mingled with the stars."
