Elizabeth Berkley finds "CSI Miami"'s David Caruso passionate!

They offered her the role? You mean she didn't call them 105 times begging?? Really?
ET:
"CSI: Miami" returns Monday night with a brand new episode -- and a new addition to the cast. ELIZABETH BERKLEY joins the show in the recurring role of a mysterious woman from Horatio Caine's (DAVID CARUSO) past -- and the mother of his newly discovered son Kyle (EVAN ELLINGSON) .
"There still may be a lot of love there," she says of their relationship. Still, the two are reunited when she comes under investigation for the murder of her billionaire husband. "The stakes are high. It is rare that they get into his personal life."
As soon as Elizabeth learned that she was being offered a role on the hit CBS series, she knew she was going to say, "Yes." But then she got the script and was even more excited to learn that she would be playing opposite David in the majority of her scenes.
"He is so passionate about his work. I love that," she tells ET. "[When that happens], you can go places you didn't think you could."
