Christina Aguilera is surprised that she's still sore after giving birth.

Childbirth can be painful? Really?
Star Pulse:
Pop star Christina Aguilera is reveling in her new role as a mom, but is still suffering from the pain of childbirth. The Beautiful singer and her husband Jordan Bratman welcomed little Max Liron Bratman into the world at 10:05pm on Saturday after doctors at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center delivered the baby via cesarean section.
But Aguilera is reportedly still "really sore" six days after the birth.
A source tells E! News, "It (childbirth) was more painful than she thought."

Well, DUH. Doesn't she have anyone in her life who can talk to her about basic stuff like this? With my first child, I was sore for about eight full weeks.

C-sections ARE very painful (I've had two) and it takes a lot longer to recover than from a regular birth. She may not have been prepared for the c-section and the surgical recovery and accompanying pain.

Gee, Christina.. guess scheduling a non-medically necessary "vanity" cesarean didn't help you avoid the pain of childbirth like you wanted. You mean major abdominal surgery recovery can be painful? WOW! IMAGINE THAT!

And frankly, recovering from surgery isn't the same as recovering from "childbirth". She didn't give birth, she had something removed from her abdomen while she was numb from the waist down and strapped to a table.
