Veteran actress Shirley Maclaine has lavished praise on Nicole Kidman - despite comparing her to an alien. The 73-year-old worked with Kidman on 2005 film Bewitched, and found herself in awe of the Australian's acting skills and extraordinary looks. MacLaine even came up with an unusual nickname for her co-star, referring to her as "my alien".
She says, "Nicole Kidman is an actress of exquisite range whose Dresden china beauty is breathtaking. She has focus and can act on anything. She is so otherworldly that I took to calling her my 'alien'. She didn't seem to mind."
