British actress Keira Knightley thinks that popularity has its drawback particularly when she's facing her peers.
The 22-year-old "Love Actually" star considers not going to celebrity parties at all lest she makes a fool out of herself.
"It is daunting. It is absolutely terrifying. Everybody likes dressing up, and I do too, but I'm terrified," she was quoted saying. "I stress so much before I come out that I'm nearly always okay once I go out. There's nothing I can do about it now, is there?"
Knightley also reveals about her hate of dressing up for red carpet events for fear of being criticized for her outfit.
Knightley has become a notable lead actress since co-starring in "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." She is set to play Coco Chanel in a film about her life.
