Britain's Prince Harry ran up a $3,000 bar bill at a London nightclub over the weekend. Harry - who had a heated row with girlfriend Chelsy Davy earlier in the evening - decided to drown his sorrows and treated his group of friends to several bottles of Krug champagne and Grey Goose vodka at Kensington's trendy Amika nightclub on Friday.
Harry, 23, and five friends snubbed the nightspot's VIP section, preferring to take at table in the corner near the DJ's booth when they arrived shortly after midnight.
Chelsy, 22, turned up separately with her girlfriends and went straight to Harry's table where the couple had an angry exchange of words.
One onlooker said: "Chelsy walked in with a face like thunder. She marched straight up to Harry and they had a huge row. Chelsy ended up storming off in tears. She ignored Harry for the rest of the night and danced with her friends. Harry sat in the corner drowning his sorrows."
Harry also reportedly threatened to "kill" one reveler who had made a remark about stunning Chelsy.
A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "Harry was really smashed. When he came back from the toilet he was fuming. His bodyguards had to pull him away from some guy and guide him back to his table. The guy made some comments about Chelsy and Harry reacted strongly."
However, Harry's evening did improve when he came to settle his huge drinks bill. He was thrilled to discover the club had given him a huge discount and only charged him for half of the drinks he had ordered.
