The Police rock Geno's World at Fenway Park.

I was fortunate to see the Police last night at Fenway Park. I'm not a die hard Police fan, but I've always enjoyed the band. Last night's concert was a pleasant surprise. All three gents were on the top of their game. Sting's vocals were top-notch & his bass playing during jams was inspiring. It was clear that Stewart Copleand was having a blast pounding away on his drum kit. His smile on the large screen was present throughout. Andy Summers' guitar playing was unique and his solos rocked. The band played all their hits & had the enthusiastic crowd roaring with pleasure. "Roxanne", "Midnight Sun" and "Walking In Your Footsteps" were a few highlights for me. The nicest thing for me to see was just the three guys on stage. No "extra" players, no synthesizers, no backing tracks. Just three pros at the top of their game. Is this tour just about money? Maybe. But I got my moneys worth last night. Bravo!
