Not to be outdone by Romney & Clinton's massive fundraising figures, Barak Obmama surprised the political world yesterday by announcing he has raised 25 million dollars this year. The most impressive figure I observed was that 90% of his donors gave $100 or less. That's a HUGE number of potential Obama voters....

That might be 300,000 or so. That's a pretty good figure, but it's not enough (on its own) to win an election.
At this very early stage, these are not the numbers that will matter.
(Just ask Phil Gramm.)
