Celebrities continue to support The Carroll Center for the Blind!

Wow.
When I first started raising awareness and money for The Carroll Center for the Blind, I had no idea I would receive the amount of support I have. My initial fundraiser raised $7,000 with tremendous support from celebrities such as Kay Panabaker, Alyssa Milano, Dr. Andy Baldwin & more: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/geno-carter/carrollcenterfortheblind
I started asking my celebrity friends to donate items for auctions to benefit CCB. Jenny McCarthy, Patricia Heaton, Julie Benz & many more responded without hesitation. The results were heartwarming, fun & fantastic! >>> Update on celebrity auctions to support Carroll Center for the Blind <<<<

The auctions themselves in addition to raising thousands of dollars for CCB, have raised awareness of The Carroll Center. 45,000 unique visitors have visited the auction pages & have been able to read about the great work that is done there. The Carroll Center employs many fantastic folks that are totally blind or visually impaired. Thousands of people each year are assisted by the Carroll Center after losing their vision. "How do I cook now that I've lost my eyesight?" "How do I get where I need to go since I can't drive anymore?" "What computer programs will help me keep my job now that I'm visually impaired?" "I'm going through emotional distress....who can I talk to?" The Carroll Center answers these questions every day for those who come to them for assistance. Hope, compassion, training & more can be found in their hallways. A fantastic place.
