Update on celebrity auctions to support Carroll Center for the Blind

It's so wonderful when celebrities get behind great causes. I asked celebrities to kindly donate items for auctions to support The Carroll Center for the Blind. A fantastic group of celebrities responded and the auctions have raised thousands of dollars for a great cause! But we're not done!!! New auctions will be starting soon! If you are a celeb and haven't joined yet, please e-mail me at genosworld@gmail.com or contact me via twitter http://twitter.com/genosworld

Some auction highlights include:

"Covert Affiars" script signeed by 5 cast members. The high bid was $1,000! Chris Gorham went out of his way to get his fellow cast members to sign the script and took time out of his busy schedule to get the script to me.

"Words with Friends" with Julie Benz was an auction that received tremendous action! Over 8,000 people viewed the auction and the high bid was $570! Julie's friend Clare Kramer's Words with Friends auction was also a huge success!! Julie Benz and Clare Kramer are angels!!

The fantastic Jenny McCarthy was the first celebrity to respond to my plea. Jenny donated copies of her 7 books all autographed! Her auctions have raised hundreds of dollars!!

My inspiration & my hero Alyssa Milano donated a beautiful autographed Red Sox shirt from her Touch line.

The great James Morrsion donated a signed "24" script

Vic Mackey himself, Michael Chiklis donated a rare "The Shield" book

My friend Ralph Macchio came through for me, even as he was competing on "Dancing with the Stars"! Ralph took time to send autographed photos. The two auctions raised $270 and $137.50 for a total of over $400!!

Gorgeous Jeri Ryan donated an autographed graphic novel

Superstar Patricia Heaton donated a "The Middle" autographed script

Sexy Mircea Monroe was kind enough to have a unique Skype auction

Lovely Nia Vardalos, Stacy Kaiser and Autumn Reeser took time out of their busy schedules to donate great items that raised some great money for CCB! A very special thanks to Autumn who donated an item shortly after a very important project:

The Carroll Center for the Blind has done amazing work for the blind for the past 75 years. During the next two months, CCB will be filled with children and teenagers that are dealing with vision issues or blindness. A great place, a great cause. I thank everyone for your continued support!
