It seemed that that was the last we would see the lovely Julie Benz on Dexter. Both show producers & Julie had stated that Rita would not be back as a ghost, it was not a dream sequence & that was that, the show was moving on........But wait, word came yesterday from EW that Julie IS returning for the Dexter season 5 season premiere!! Showtime confirmed the news today. Dexter fans can sing with joy!!!!!!!!!!
