Miley Cyrus may be tasty, but you don't want to eat her. Or, at least, don't eat her Hannah Montana lunchbag-ready snacks.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, along with the Peanut Corporation of America, has issued a safety recall of Disney Hannah Montana Peanut Chocolate Granola Bars due to possible salmonella contamination. These nut products are part of a wider peanut recall earlier this year.
The granola bars are just the tip of the branding iceberg for the corporation-size starlet, so the treats being pulled off shelves shouldn't hurt too badly. With books, movies, clothing, school supplies and food, who knows what could be next for the Cyrus brand?
I can hear it now...."Go to bed Jimmy or I'll make you eat a Hannah Montana Granola Bar"....

.....But the big shocker is that Natalie Portman will be playing the lead female role. Possibilities after the jump.
Fans are already trying to figure out which character Portman would play, but it probably comes down to these three options:
Amora the Enchantress, Thor’s Asgard love-interest and antagonist.
Sif, Thor’s wife who is also a Goddess in Asgard.
Jane Foster, Donald Blake’s nurse who eventually develops feelings for him, without knowing that Blake is Thor
Video: Lindsay Lohan says "Get out of the car you f**cking psycho!!" to paparazzi that got a bit too close!
The outburst is at the end of the clip.

US: Tori Spelling's mom doesn't want to compete with her sometimes-estranged daughter -- at least not on bookshelves.
Candy Spelling moved the publication date of her new book, Stories from Candyland, up two weeks earlier, from April 14 to March 31, so that she wouldn't go head-to-head with Tori's release of her new book, Mommywood, due on April 14.
“Tori is my daughter, and I love her," Candy tells Usmagazine.com. "I wish her all the best with the publication of her new book."
Tori's publication date was recently moved to the current spot, but her rep says it wasn't to compete with her mother.
"[They] moved the book due to Mother’s Day promotions at retailers," Tori's rep tells Us. "It had nothing to do with Candy's release date."
Regardless of the release date, Candy doesn't plan to buy it.
"I never read her first one because my friends and family advised me against it," Candy says. "They said it would hurt my feelings, so I decided to pass. I won't read her new one either."
Tori detailed her feud against Candy in her 2008 tell-all, sTori Telling. She alleged her mom cheated on her dying dad, Aaron, and kept them apart as he grew sicker. The pair made up after Tori gave birth to her first child, Liam, in 2007.
"I can assure you, however, that if Tori were to read my book, she wouldn't be hurt at all, and, in fact, it might bring back some wonderful memories from her childhood," Candy tells Us. "Memories that I cherish and that's why I wrote about them."
"24" star Annie Wesching talks about the kissing scene with Kiefer Sutherland that was cut out. Annie also reveals that she'll be back next season!
I like Annie quite a bit. She's been a great addition to the show. Great news that she'll be back!
We've never once seen him hit a water fountain, a vending machine or the men's room, but that doesn't mean 24's Jack Bauer doesn't have needs!
You fans who've been hoping for a hookup between Jack [Kiefer Sutherland] and the show's new femme fatale Renee Walker [Annie Wersching] were thisclose to getting exactly that.
“In the script after episode 10, when I slap Jack, there was a kiss written into that episode but they took it out of the script last minute,” Annie herself dishes to us.
But why? We want to see them hook up, don’t we? Read on for the scoop from Annie...
“We thought it was a little cliché for that moment in particular,” Annie explains. “And besides, I don’t know I want a romantic storyline with Jack. Isn’t that usually the kiss of death for a character involved with him? It doesn’t usually fair well to be in a relationship with Jack Bauer.”
And how do the two get on off screen? “We get along great. Kiefer plays a lot of chess. He tried to teach me, but it didn’t go well.”
As for what the future holds for her character, Annie says, “I’m going to get into big trouble in an upcoming episode. But I did get picked up for the next season, which starts soon. So that means I don’t die.”
Radio legend Howard Stern is annoyed that the Media is leaving the K out of Howard K Stern's news stories.
Opener Jessica Simpson, on the other hand, was forgettable at best. Simpson's fame is far more reaching than her talent deserves.
The blonde no-longer-a-teen idol looked as attractive as ever in her cutoff shorts and high, high heels, yet the outfit could hardly be called revealing. (And no, she wasn't fat, despite tabloid rumors and one unflattering picture to the contrary. So let's just drop that conversation once and for all.)
As for the singing, Simpson left a lot to be desired. Her vocals aren't bad, exactly, but her typically soft, breathy delivery was strained in such a large outdoor venue.
The 40-minute set lacked energy, and Simpson seemed uncomfortable moving on stage (a challenge, for sure, in those big heels). The performance wasn't helped when Simpson screwed up the lyrics not once but twice during her set: her first mistake on "Remember That" could have been forgiven, but the crowd booed when she messed up again. In fact, Simpson seemed to do better on her two covers – "These Boots Are Made For Walking" and "Angels" by Robbie Williams – than on her own new material.
I think Lauren has a sure fire hit here. Download the track and pump it up on your ipod!

New York police arrested three people following a massive stampede that erupted during a casting call for the new season of the Tyra Banks-powered reality contest—a melee that involved hundreds of people outside a Central Park hotel.
At least six people were injured, two of whom were hospitalized, in a scene that left the surrounding vicinity looking like Fashion Week meets Thunderdome and shut down the auditions.
Police said they did not immediately know what triggered the crush of bodies, but according to the New York Daily News, the combination of would-be catwalkers (all under 5-foot-7 this cycle) waiting on line for hours and a broken-down BMW proved combustible.
A fight had broken out among some of the bystanders; then, moments later, the car appeared, spewing smoke, and reportedly led to shouts that a bomb had gone off.
