For once, fans of such upcoming films as "Twilight" and "Watchmen" will find themselves embracing "Spoilers" rather than running away from them — as that's the name of MTV's newest program, a quarterly movie special that will deliver first looks at the year's biggest upcoming flicks, including behind-the-scenes action and exclusive scenes.
As loyal followers of MTV's "Twilight" Tuesday well know, the series kicks off with a premiere episode being taped later this week. That "Spoilers" episode, featuring such stars from the highly anticipated flick as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and director Catherine Hardwicke, will air on November 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Hundreds of the most die-hard "Twilight" fans in the world will attend MTV News' screening of the film, with the stars walking the blood-red carpet to chat with MTV's own Tim Kash. In addition to "Twilight," the first installment will also give viewers exclusive access to scenes from such upcoming blockbusters as "Watchmen," "Bride Wars," "Bedtime Stories" and more.
So set your DVRs, TiVos and VCRs (and seriously, if you're still relying on a VCR, why?) to record "Spoilers" on November 14.

I'm a bit tardy, but better late then never! The song is one of my favorites. It was very meaningful to me earlier this year as I was undergoing some tough times. My hero John Wetton wrote a fantastic tune & Doug did a fine job on the video...................
BRITISH ROCKERS ASIA, ANNOUNCE GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF QUICKTIME MUSIC VIDEO CONTESTNew Mexico Fan’s Video for “An Extraordinary Life” selected by ASIA as Song’s Official Online Music Video
Hollywood, California – October 22, 2008 – In what may be an exciting new case of “life imitating art,” the acclaimed British rock super-group, ASIA has announced Doug Purdy of Albuquerque, New Mexico, as the grand prize winner of the band’s QuickTime music video contest for “An Extraordinary Life.” The video contest was launched by the band, its label, and strategic partners, as a new initiative between ASIA and its fans. For the contest, (which was hosted by www.asiavideocontest.com), ASIA fans were invited by the band, in partnership with QuickTime, to create their own music videos for “Extraordinary Life”, a track from ASIA’s new EMI America Records album, Phoenix. The song was designed to celebrate the positive aspects and memories in everyone’s life, and encourages the listener to “Carpe Diem;” living every day to the fullest. The song was written by ASIA members John Wetton and Geoff Downes in direct response to Wetton’s recent successful recovery from open heart surgery. Purdy’s video, like many others entered into the contest, contains personal home video footage and photos interspersed with footage of ASIA performing the song, for unique interactive experience.“This was a unique way of connecting with our fans, via the web,” says Carl Palmer, drummer. “It was interesting to see the type of images our fans thought could fit the song, itself.” As the contest’s top prizewinner, Purdy has also won an Apple MacBook AIR laptop, custom etched with ASIA’s logo. In addition, his creative video has been selected as the song’s official online music video by ASIA’s Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton. The video is featured at ASIA’s official websites, www.myspace.com/originalasia and www.originalasia.com. Phoenix, ASIA’s first studio album since 1983 with all four original members, was released in North America on April 15, 2008 by EMI America Records. Since 1982, ASIA has sold more than 15 million albums, and the band recently completed its latest 52 city world tour (the third since the band re-formed in 2006) to support the global release of Phoenix.
Forget Madonna's marital woes. Now no one wants to see her movie. The Materially Divorcing Mom released her "Filth and Wisdom" directorial debut three weeks ago to the usual fanfare at New York's IFC Center. She's never been much of an actress, but Madonna did receive some positive notices for directing this feature starring members of the group Gogol Bordello.Unfortunately, even New Yorkers didn't want to see it. So far, "Filth and Wisdom" has sold just over $18,000 in tickets since its release October 17th. Even worse, it's not even playing in New York. The strange film played in three theaters over the weekend: in Toronto, St. Louis, and Columbus, Ohio. The three screens this past weekend was down from 10 the week before. In other words, Madonna's not going to be directing any major motion pictures any time soon.

Angelina Jolie has confessed that the wild, tattooed, blood swapping siren that captured the public over seven years ago, isn't completely gone. In a candid interview the Changeling star dropped her do-gooder, mum of six image for all of six seconds declaring that she still has the attitude that got her famous in the first place. She told Harper's Bazaar, "I don't walk around feeling I need to apologize or explain myself."I am still, at heart - and always will be - just a punk kid with tattoos."
And it seems that the actress' hardened exterior is coming in handy with her children. She said, “ I let them play with toy soldiers. We don't take war and violence lightly, but we don't hide it from anybody. “We say, 'Mommy and Daddy have movies where we play these characters, but there's real death and violence in the world.'"

Roger Taylor says Freddie Mercury would be pleased with Paul Rodgers being the new front man for Queen.
They sound fantastic. Check the new CD out!
Rolling Stone: May and Taylor insist that Mercury would be pleased with their choice of frontman. "Freddie was a huge Paul Rodgers fan," says Taylor. "Absolutely adored his voice. He was a different animal, but he would have loved to be able to sing like that."
